We stumbled across this place looking for variety, quality, and close proximity to an event we were attending at the Dolby Theater. Holy crap we were not prepared for that bread plate! In fact, I think "bread plate" is an insult to their artisanal bread and spreads. If you go here and don't get bread, you're dumb. (well, unless you have a bread allergy.) The gin cocktail and matcha lemonade were delicious and perfectly not too sweet. Oysters and eye of rib steak dish were also highly enjoyable. (sorry I did not photo those dishes.) I was pretty impressed with how affordable our meal was considering how happy we were with everything. And the cherry on the cake was absolutely the service! Everyone was on top of things and worked together well to give a quality dining experience. The queen for us was Nina. Accommodating, knowledgeable, anticipated our needs and was just the right amount of pushy to two moms on a girls trip who have a difficult time letting people take care of them. Dang we wish we lived closer, but we will definitely be back.

We visited Superba when they were having oven issues and on a limited menu, but we enjoyed it so much that we can't wait to come back. The atmosphere is top notch with just a beautiful rustic feel inside and a lovely garden patio outside. It feels very removed from its location on Sunset in a good way. Service was OK - everything seemed out of sorts and things were forgotten, but I'll give a pass due to the oven situation. Even though we got only cold items, everything was delicious and the bread was amazing. Can't wait to go back and get the full experience!

Highly recommend. Aesthetically pleasing restaurant whether you sit inside or out, attentive & friendly staff, and most importantly delicious food. I chose to sit inside and loved the comfortable booth & the views of the beautiful restaurant. I thought it was very unique that they offered a juice flight of kale, beet, and orange juice for $10. So good. For food I went with a half dozen oysters, the beet salad, and braised beef. The oysters & the beet salad were delicious! The braised beef was just okay in my opinion but good enough. The prices are also good imo, esp considering the quality of the food and ambiance of the restaurant. Apparently they are known for their bread! But we did not try it. Next time we will!

There are a lot of kale salads around town (understatement of the century?) and while Superba's version isn't cream of crop, paired with the gorgeous dining space and personable staff, it was a very positive dining experience. Even if the food isn't a total win, the menu covers a lot of territory competently and is a good option for disparate tastes.

Since I started working aroud the area I would sometimes ordered lunch from here. So one day I order for pick up I saw how beautiful this place is inside, so I decided I needed to come and dine in. Well the day I came in for lunch it happened to be DineLA week. So I went for their prefix menu. I got the tomato soup with grilled cheese dipper, the umami salmon bowl and their delightful chocolate cake that I had to bring back to work. Everything was truly delicious! Service was as excellent as their food and drink. I've had also tried their angel hair pomodoro, their steak and double cheese burger; and although everything has been great I always crave their chocolate cake!!! If you like chocate cake you have to try this one. Clean restroom. Street and valet parking.

The food was delicious and healthy. I ordered the big boy breakfast and we also shared the croissant french toast. The croissant french toast was sweet and nutty. It's a must try! They have a very cute outdoor seating area. The staff was friendly and helpful. I think it's a great brunch spot to go with friends

Superba on sunset is great- just far enough away from the clamor of Hollywood Blvd to be full of character and glam. The croissant French toast is very unique and a must-try! Especially if you can share it at a table since it's so sweet. (A few bites is all it takes to feel the sugar kick in, really) The chilaquiles are delicious!!! A generous amount of flavorful, thick chips that maintain a crunch, and two eggs on top. Beautiful interior that's well-lit and a gorgeous patio. It's so Hollywood!

Superba is Hollywood gem unassumingly tucked away between two brick and mortar stores on Sunset. The outdoor patio is such a vibe, and the inside seating area is so inviting! I love the decor - simple and clean: exposed beam ceilings, greenery, leather couches/seats, and an inviting fireplace. The atmosphere is relaxed yet buzzing. The energy in there was so positive. Went for lunch on a Sunday. Found street parking around the corner. Plenty of metered parking out in front on Sunset. Everything on the menu is up my alley, and I had a tough time making my selection. I ended up ordering the Umami Salmon Bowl without the rice- and I was not disappointed! The salmon and roasted veggies were delicious. Perfect portion (I ate it all!). My friend ordered the Little Gem Cesar salad and fries, which he enjoyed very much! Although the service was slow, it did not impact my 5 star experience. Superba is such a cool spot and the food was hands down delicious. I cannot wait to come back!
